I'm somewhat new to the world of photography and stumbled onto this podcast during this summer. I have to say that this is the most enjoyable photography podcast available in the blogosphere for learning about our hobby/obsession/profession. Jeff you do a wonderful job of educating and entertaining!

I think it's OK now... since the podcasts are hosted on the College of DuPage servers, sometimes there are some slow downloads, especially in the middle of the day and especially at the start of the semester when there's a lot of traffic on the web.

Thanks for listening!

Rex; thanks for posting. Yes; I think at first Saudek looks "romantic" and I suppose in some ways, he is, but what's really interesting is that sardonic attitude that seems to completely counteract that romantic look and feel that the images have.

Hi Jeff, Thanks for posting this episode. I have always been a fan of Eastern European photographers. They seem to put a different slant on things. I hadn't come across either of these before. I like them both, particularly Saudek. Some of his images seem to be a bit cynical, particularly "Image of a great man".

Cheers Rex
